2 month old keeps falling asleep before bottle is hardly even started!!

So I've switched to ff mostly, do a bf for night feed and evening feed. But A lot of time now she is hungry then I give her an ounce or 2 and she falls asleep! Then wakes up half hour or hour later hungry obviously and finishes bottle then is hungry 2 hours after.... Is it silly to think she would be so rigid as to feed every 3 hours?

It's not silly, but she would be an unusual baby to have a fixed pattern. It's usually easier to go with the baby's flow :)

Thanks tiktok, it's hard being a new mum with silly questions like this.... Nothing that's urgent to see dr with and HV always reads from text book. I spose it's all trial and error is it?

I agree when bf you wouldnt know how much they had to expect them to finish it.
I have never ff but i thought there was say a time limit on giving the same bottle eg once theyve been drinking from it their bacteria cause the germs to grow? But could be wrong.
Certainly bf ones do fall asleep quickly when feeding
