Advice needed - having to leave EBF 6mo for a day

I'm beginning to panic.

Due to circumstances beyond my control I have to spend a day interviewing at work. I work in a small team, and am recruiting my deputy. The interviews are in a month.

DD2 is EBF and will absolutely not take a bottle. It's the bottle which is the issue, not what's in it.

She still has her tongue thrust reflex so not weaning yet.

I know a lot can change in a month, but I'm concerned about how DH and DD2 are going to manage for 8 hours with her not taking a bottle and potentially not yet weaned.

Anyone else managed in this type of situation?

She is

Have you tried a cup of some description? DS2 had no truck with bottles but when I tried him with some EBM in a Doidy cup at 4.5 months (largely in a spirit of "what the hell, the milk will go down the sink otherwise") he glugged most of it down. Once he was comfortable with the Doidy he moved on to a Nuk soft spout sippy, which he still likes for milk at 14 months.

Also is there any possibility your DH could bring baby in to you for a feed half way through the day of interviews? I'm presuming you'll have some sort of lunch break...

Thanks Leedy. In my sleep addled state hadn't thought of cup. So bloody obvious too.

Am slightly less panicked as my boss suggested we only interview 4 candidates and he was very understanding about DD2 potentially being brought to me for feeding.

Doidy cup. DH got DD to drink ebm from one when she was 4mo, after refusing bottles.
