big problems

trying to get my 3mth old on to bottles. he'll only take it if i pull the breast away as i stick the bottle in???? any tips to stop this

Have you tried another type of teat, my DS refused avent one, but went loved the laytex ones that you get (the funny brown colored ones) seems that he was happier with the laytex because is was softer. It took me 3 long months to make this discovery when another mum mentioned it at play group.

Also suggest that you get someone else to give the bottle, as he will smell the milk on you and want that instead of the bottle.

Hi

you could try the nuk teats/bottles. the mum that i cm for used these after breastfeeding and found these were the only ones the baby would take. he also uses the latex teats.

Have you tried getting some milk onto the end of the teat so he can taste it?
