I am still BFing 18mth old at night. We both have the most dreadful cold. I want to take Paracetamol but I also want to give it to DD. i am worried about the amount she would get in my Breast milk. You know how you have to be so careful with Paracetamol.

Anyone know....

And this should explain that it doesn't matter if dd is getting paracetamol as well: \link{http://www.breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk/ pdfs/coughandcoldremediesandbf.pdf\here}

I know Paracetamol is dafe when Bfing but if the baby is having it as well is there an increased risk of overdose IYKWIM. Would the traces in my milk tip her over the edge.

Don't want to give her Ibuprofen cos asmatic shouldn't have it and her brother is asmatic and I am beginning to wonder if she is too. I will check if it's ok for me to have IB.

Thanks for the site.
