Anyone left a bf 10 month old (or similar) for several nights then resumed?

I have been offered a work trip abroad when ds2 will be 10 months old for a week. I'm probably going to turn it down but am curious to know if anyone has managed several nights away and then continued feeding? I don't want to take ds with me as we have another child in school so dh wouldn't be able to come and help and it's a longhaul destination with healthcare less good than here. When ds1 was that age I was away for about 4 nights (unintentionally, should have been 2, was delayed in Icelandic volcano aftermath) and we carried on feeding till he was much older. I'm lucky with expressing and can normally build up a big freezer stash. How long has anyone had a break from bf and then continued?

I did 4 nights with a 6 month old and didn't even express when away. It was my third time breastfeeding and when I got back I could babymoon for a good few days. Could you ensure you have a good few days off work afterwards? Toil, not leave as I think it was the coming back that enabled me to continue rather than the time away iyswim. I then continued for another 6 months.

That's interesting - pumping on the plane etc was another thing I was worried about so maybe I wouldn't need to. Yes I could take time off when I come back, that would be fine, good idea.
