Night out at 10 months

I have a night out I'd hate to miss in three weeks time.
DD is 9 months now, EBF. She was a bottle refuser, then she started recently to drink milk in good amount when she's at nursery/with DP, but only when I've been away many hours.
Bedtime routine finishes with a BF so I've always done that bit. I feed her in her dark room and then I put her in her cot. Normally she does not fall asleep at the breast, but will babble/ blow raspberries/ cry for a few minutes and then fall asleep on her own. On bad nights she'll cry for more than 10 mins, then DP would go in and cuddle her to sleep. If she wakes at night, he can cuddle her to sleep as well unless she's really hungry/thirsty. She eats quite well and I don't think she really needs that feed, and anyway I could feed her right before going out - at the latest about 1 hour before her normal bedtime.

We have never tried messing with the routine but I'd like to give it a go not to lose the night out. On the other hand, I don't want to stress DD and DP a lot on what is basically something not needed. Do you have any experience of trying something similar that you can share? Was there a lot of fighting?
TIA

You have time to try DP putting her to bed with a bottle, in a dark room, cuddles etc and see how it goes. It sounds like she'll probably be alright. I've bf both mine into toddlerhood, and they didn't sleep through the night for ages, but I've always been able to go out for the odd night out and its been fine. If they wouldn't settle it was better for both DH and DC to get up for a while and play quietly whilst awaiting my return. DC would usually drop off again being cuddled downstairs. Its just a one off and I think it helps to have a flexible routine and child. DH would usually text me updates- 1) still asleep.... 2) still asleep.... 3) stirring...! 4) awake but calm... 5) Are you on your way?.... lol! Have a great time!
