Managing through a growth spurt

DS2 is 5 weeks old. DS 1 is 14 months. I did not manage to bf DS 1 as he was premature and I did not get the support I needed to make it work. So I'm even more determined to bf DS2. However, I think we're heading into a growth spurt and I really don't see how I can manage this with a toddler to look after too.

I'm currently sat on the sofa where I have been for hours with a feeding baby stuck to my chest. Thankfully DH was here to see to DS1 and get him to bed. But next week he returns to work so won't be around and I'm dreading it.

If anyone has any words of wisdom I would be really grateful for them!

Thank you for suggestions. DS1 is being very patient at the moment and watching more tv than I would like! The difficult times are toddler's dinner time and bedtime as the baby just cries and cries if I put him down. Sling could work for these.......??
