Painful wind and / or reflux

DD is 9 weeks and Is FF. Has been on c&g1 however started becoming fussy after half a feed taking 2 ounce at a time rather than the usual 4 and wriggling around red face etc.. Immediately after stopping feeding is fine no constant crying or discomfort. It's just that feeds take ages and seems to be a battle to get her to take it. I think it may be Wind as she does trump a lot during and after feeding. I changed lo to c&g comfort however this seems to have helped with wind but is bringing up milk either immediately after or up to an hour after a feed and also appears to be more uncomfortable with this formula. DS has not brought up milk before and so I am going to revert to c&g1. Have also tried infacol and dr brown bottles. Does anyone have any advice on other milk or medication? I was thinking as the comfort seemed to have helped with wind with the reduced lactose I could try colief in normal c&g? Any advice would be appreciated..

Its difficult to say...it could be reflux, which can develop after a few weeks, it could be wind (we have a gassy one who we have to wind every half ounce), or it could be the change in formula. Are you winding frequently? A change back might rule out if the change in formula was an issue.

Is she hungry after she is sick? If not she's probably overeaten, if so then it could be wind (bringing it up makes more space in the tum), and if reflux they sometimes like to drink to ease the burn in the throat.

I'd check these before adding meds and thickened formula or reduced lactose formula...maybe contact your hv or gp if things don't improve.
We've tried colief (expensive), infacol and dentinx to no avail...but what works for some doesn't work for others and vice versa...
