Comfort milk

Is anybody using comfort milk? How long did it take to see a noticeable improvement in your baby.

My dd was breastfeeding for 2 weeks but moved to formula for personal reasons. She has been on cow and gate stage 1 for 2 weeks but has been very unsettled and straining hard, pooing every other day. She screamed when doing this.

We introduced comfort milk two days ago and she did seem very settled yesterday but again this morning has been straining and screaming. She looks to be in so much pain. How long did it take before your baby adapted and seemed happier?

Is she screaming whilst she poos? Not used comfort milk but it might be worth a visit to your GP.

We've been using comfort milk for 7 weeks now (ds is 9 weeks). He's still struggling I'm afraid. GP and HV aren't that bothered and say use massage and cooled boiled water to help. HV said yesterday that it's more or less a waiting game as their tummies mature at 12 weeks. Hope she's right!
