WWYD? BM in fridge

I have 2 bottles of my ebm in the fridge - I know one is from around 29th Dec which I forgot about (which will have to be dumped) and one is from last Thursday so tomorrow is the last day I can use it but... I don't know which one is which!

I have a vague idea but don't want to risk keeping the wrong one.

They both have separated so there is 'cream' on the top but one looks generally more watery than the other don't know if this is relevant but thought it was worth a mention

WWYD? It'll be heart wrenching to throw them both out but wouldn't want to risk giving it to DS if it's 'off'

Sorry I would get rid of both.

Do they smell different?

I think BM is ok for up to 8 days in the fridge. Could you smell/taste them to see if they have gone off. Swirl them to mix first

They do actually smell the same.

Thanks for that link ilove, I was using a 5 day rule but they should be both ok, if I freeze them tonight - I always sterilise my equipment before I pump so always collected in a clean, careful way even though DS is 13mo!
