Can I take Molkosan whilst bf?

I've just bought some Molkosan from a health food shop to help with recurrent thrush, but it says check with GP/MW before taking if bf.

Does anybody know if this is actually OK, or what the number is to ring and check (was it the BFN who have a drugs helpline? Do they also cover 'alternative' things?)

DS is just over three weeks old now.

Thanks

Nobody tried this? Might try posting on health instead.

Laura, molkosan is a food supplement, isn't it? With whey in it? There's no drugs or herbs. Can't think why it would have any effect on breastmilk....

The ingredients are: concentrated lactofermented whey (without protein), (L+)-lactic acid and bacterial culture.

I think they must just put the 'check with your GP if bf' bit on all of their products to cover themselves.
