I want to cut down the bfing. I've been giving her the newborn aptimil but am not sure if she should have something else instead.

you can stick with the first milk if you want as it is suitable up to age 1 when you would switch to cows milk. Another option is follow on milk - you dont have to use it - I did, but only because it worked out cheaper than the first milk and it can be discounted/have special offers which the first milk cant.
