Baby will be nearly 9 months and has 4 daytime feeds and 1 in the night. She's eating a little but getting most of her nutrition from milk still. I am going on holiday and will be leaving DD with grandma during the day, so she will need to give her 2 feeds of formula in the middle of the day, but I can still do the 6am, 6pm and 11pm feeds.
Will dropping 2 feeds be very painful? Should I drop a few days before so I'm not in too much pain and have got used to it.
Am I likely to be able to reestablish full breastfeeding after? If I can then I may just buy in readymade cartons for my mum to use for ease, but if it's likely that my supply goes permanently then we may as well learn and get used to making up formula from powder.
