how were periods once they returned?

Ds is 5 mo, ebf and still feeds every couple of hours through the night. I had my first period a month or so ago which was a surprise, but nothing since. Did they come back with the same regularity straight away or were they a bit erratic to start with?

I'm currently having my first one - DS is 15 months and my last one was exactly two years ago! From what I remember of it, it's exactly the same as before, horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if they are a bit erratic at first though, especially if you're still feeding.

Mine came back regularly every month, but didn't get the first till dd was 10 months and on lots of solids. They were not very heavy though

Came back with the same regularity with DS1 (at 8/9 months), back earlier with DS2 (5 months) and much less regular. I had a 21 day cycle for a couple of months, which I could have done without....

Mine came back when DS was 14 months. They've been as regular as clockwork since returning but my cycle had shortened slightly - gone from 32 days to 28.

Mine came back, went away, were light then heavy. But I am mixed feeding so that prob makes a difference, although bf a lot during the night. Crazy hormones

Came back at 6 weeks and are all over the place, every other week arm, some heavy some not. Ds is 4mo

Came back at 7 months. Much more regular than before I was pregnant. And shorter cycle..getting shorter every month. ;(

Ooh thank you. Just wondered where mine had got to, but if they can be erratic to start with them that could be it.

Came back at 7 months. Heavier and sorer than before but I'm still done in 2 days flat. And I have a 35 day cycle so I'm aware I have it pretty easy.

Same regularity. Came back at 9 and 7 months, respectively.

Lighter and shorter though, yippee!
