Hi all.
I've been having recurrent blocked ducts for a couple of months now.
Always the top of my right boob (the smaller, less milky one) if I go more than a few hours without feeding baba.
I've been on antibiotics since Monday for mastitis in this area, baba has been avoiding nursing as the milk obv tastes funny and now I have a huge, painful blockage the whole underside of my left breast.

It hurts so much and I can't pump more than an oz off it.
It's not somewhere I can massage and I don't know what to do.
Pumping isn't working effectively , baby isn't feeding and I can't hand express because of where it is!
What can I do?!

When I've had a blockage thats been tough to shift I've generally found a couple of ibuprofen, lots of massage and a hot water bottle help, as well as just continuing to try and get little one to feed on that side (though easier said than done) and pump/hand express as well. I tend to just stay in bed and keep trying all of the above, and eventually it will suddenly just lift, though I have had them last all day which is miserable. All I can really recommend it to keep doing what you are doing, fingers crossed it resolves quickly. I'm sure someone who knows more about this sort of thing will be along soon x
