Expressing

Ds is 14 weeks and ebf. In a couple of months I know that I'm going to be away from him for a feed on a couple of days, and thought it would be useful to have a bit of expressed milk in the freezer anyway just in case, so this week have been hand expressing. I can fairly easily get 3/3.5oz from one side in a sitting, and so don't particularly want to increase my supply much as this isn't going to be a long term thing, more an as-and-when thing, and engorgement is painful!. If I keep expressing erratically, ie not everyday and at different times, do you think I can avoid this?

Yes I think that would minimise your supply increasing too much. Wish I had thought of that!

You could try double-pumping(both at same time) once or twice a day...it can double your let down, even the 1st time.
