He fed from 11to 3 on and off beside me, slept then til 5:30, have twin toddlers too is sleeping during the day is not as option, anyone any advice how I can get him to sleep longer or in his own bed?? I'm ready to give up at this stage Hmm

Could be a growth spurt maybe. They have stages of them. I can't help you with the sleeping longer bit only to sympathise. Had DS who never seemed to sleep and doesn't much now aged 13. Twins too who fed constantly and I was expressing with them as they had been in incubators for 2 months and couldn't feed when they came out of hospital. My son used to hang on my breast for comfort during the night. I had to be more strict with the twins. Into bed with the lights off and I would deal with them, feed them when they woke but never let them into bed with me. Or maybe he's cold in bed - put him on a fleece perhaps as it's freezing at the moment.

Bfing is about more than just being hungry though. At 4 months he could be going through a sleep regression and not much you do will alter this.

There are some things you can do to try to make it easier though. Are you feeding lying down at night? Could DH get up with the twins so that you can have a little extra time in bed? Is Lo feeding enough in the day? Try wearing him in a sling in the day too as this can help.

There are some tips on coping with the demands of bfing and having toddlers here and on getting Lo to sleep here.
