A couple of posters had suggested my 7wo might have a tt, and after researching this J agree with them.

Can anyone recommend anyone in Herts or London (I could travel there easily) to assess her ad correct it if necessary?

I've found some LCs via google, but would prefer a recommendation from someone who's had success.

I'd really like to get this sorted ASAP and can afford to go private if necessary - but may be tricky to persuade DP of necessity so grateful if you could give me an idea of price too so I can start working on him!

Two of my friends went to a local breastfeeding cafe in South London, were assessed by the specialist midwife, referred to clinic and had the tt snipped within a week, with a follow-up app the following week.
If you want someone to come to you, then I think another friend had Anne Dobson come to her. I think she's about a couple of hundred pounds, but she came at midnight and sorted the tt there and then.

I saw Juliet Albert in her clinic in Primrose Hill at 1 week old. She assessed and snipped the morning after I contacted her. Cost £120. No feeding problems since.

Thank you both and sorry for the typos - posting on my phone while (painfully!) feeding in the middle of the night was not too good from an accuracy point of view!

Graham I Smith at Kingston Hospital. he is a surgeon which personally I preferred to having a LC do it. charges £80 for assessment and snip (all over in 10 mins if that). no need for a referral iirc - he will assess himself and won't snip if he doesn't find anything.

definitely worth it IMO.
