Hi DD is just over 3weeks old and has been EBF since birth.

DD is now feeding for a good 30-40mins then coming off and wanting more after 10-15mins, I am happy to keep feeding DD like this but my breasts and nipples are sore and it hurts to feed sometimes.

I wonder if switching to FF will be better for DD as It means DH could help out with some feeds.

Any advice???

Well its totally upto you but I wonder if a few things might help. First, have a read of this as its good for letting you know what is normal and what might need additional support.

Is there a bfing support group that you could go to? They should be able to give you some RL support, especially if you are experiencing soreness and pain. It might also be worth getting her checked for tongue tie as this could be an issue and just switching to formula won't solve all of your problems if dd has it.

Maybe talking through your options with a BFC might help? The numbers are hereSmile
