Nipples suddenly sore again at 15 weeks

Dd2 has breastfed well since we had her posterior tt and upper lip tie revised at 6 weeks. However, I've had excruciatingly sore nipples for the last 3 days and as a result am getting reluctant to feed her :(
I dont think our latch has particularly worsened, although it's painfully obvious whenever it's not perfect now, and as I'm in pain I don't think the milk is flowing as freely which on turn makes her de-latch frequently, leading to more pain for me...
Any ideas?

Have you tried holding her in different positions? Occasionally it was painful to feed my DC as the shape of their mouths changed and we all got used to it, so I would move to rugby ball hold for a while (holding baby under my arm so she attacked the nipple from the other side) or even lying down with baby on my tummy feeding from underneath. Just the change of angle helped. I also took painkillers when I was dreading feeds, just for a day or two till things evened out. A RL bf counsellor would also be a good bet if there is one near you who can watch you bf.

Have you had the tt checked again? I'm no expert but from posts I've seen on here it can sometimes need dividing again. Agree too that a different position and seeing a BFC should help Smile
