For various reasons, I want to express feed when out and about. Anyone got tips on getting the milk warm without having to go into a cafe?

She can feed hourly so I dont want my days to be ruled by cafe stops & ill be on a bus so dont have comfort of the car.

Bring a flask of boiling water and something to pour it into that you can stand the bottle in

tommee tippee flasks are great for this and stay warm for ages. They have a container built in to warm the bottle in.

Oh fab thanks...looked tommee tippee up on amazon. Looks perfect & have ordered one.

Also had one you snap to heat & boil to reactivate called lionheart or something but tommee one looks better.

If you have room and a bit of forethought (and are well wrapped up) I used to stick down my bra/in an armpit to warm up.

I have no idea who recommended I do this but DS1 seemed happy. Obviously someone else's body heat also fine so DH would sometimes oblige. Takes a wee while but at the very least takes the edge off.

Will she take it at room temperature? If it's freshly expressed EBM is ok out of the fridge for hours. Not sure if it's different for milk that has been stored, but I know you don't have to be as careful with EBM as you do formula.

There's a great website with some evidence to back this up but I can't find it ...

She will. Though I live in scotland so when out about the temperature is pretty low! Ill give the tommee tippee a go :)
