Has my milk dried up?

I've been weaning for a couple of weeks now. I didn't EBF, he was having some time on the boob then having a top up of formula.

I started off letting him go on but only 5 mins at a time, then started dropping feeds. Well yesterday I dropped my 5th feed, last night I during the night feeds I was having trouble getting him to latch on, my boobs feel and look so empty that they literally sag and I'm having to hold them up to try and get them in his mouth.

Tonight I try again and have the same problem so I tried hand expressing to see if any milk was even coming and I can't get anything out.

I have had a cold, so I don't know if that could be affecting my supply, but I am trying to stop so wouldn't be such a big deal if it has already dried up.

I'm not an expert but how much you can express is no indication of how much milk you are producing but if you are looking to stop bfing, it might not be such a bad thing? Smile
