My DS2 is 12 months and popping teeth up ever week right now. Suddenly breastfeeding hurts again,? He isn't biting and his latch looks fine but it really hurts. He's a bottle refuser and he's got an earache in addition to teething so don't want to refuse the boob, although when he's better i 'd quite like to wind it down to maybe just a bedtime/morning feed.

Sorry, my question is just 'is this normal? Has anyone else had it? My firstborn stopped nursing at 9 months and had no teeth yet.

hi, yes I found teeth really effected latch. I went back to basics and really made sure it was as 'good' as possible. Goodnews is it didn't last long, I think ds just had to get used to feeding with teeth in the way. Hope it improves soon.
