Am I worrying unnecessarily?!

Please tell me if I'm being crazed...

My baby is 7 weeks old and I have been exclusively breastfeeding. It's been going really well and she's been growing brilliantly.

Last week, I had to be admitted to hospital and wasn't in a position to keep my DD with me overnight. I didn't have enough expressed milk for the entire time that I ended up being in hospital so my husband bought some formula to tide us over until I got home.

We only ended up giving her two formula feeds and then went straight back to breastmilk.

What is concerning me is that DD hasn't pooed in three days and is quite a bit fussier than usual. I feel like she is really uncomfortable. I know that some degree of change is to be expected when formula is introduced, but I didn't expect such a small number of feedings to have such an impact.

Does anyone have any tips about easing the discomfort?

Really sorry to hear that you had to go into hospital; hope you're recovering well!

Advice I had for helping a baby's digestion was to massage their tummy in a clockwise direction (apparently this helps things through their digestive system). Also to bicycle their legs.

I don't know anything about formula milk, I'm afraid, but just to say: I did exclusive bf, and at 8 weeks my baby had a sudden 2 day no-poo zone. My HV advised not to worry, and I've known other babies do it too. When things finally got moving again though, it was defo a "poonami"! :(

Everything I've read suggests it's harder to digest, so that could explain the slow down. Tummy massages and leg pumping could help.
I sit my ds on my torso with his legs pointed up into his tummy and bounce him up and down.
