Has my supply dropped?

After a very hard beginning when I finally thought we were progressing nicely we have again hit a rough patch. My baby is 3 months old now and she wants to be attached to the boob all the time. Due to that my breasts are hurting. When i take her off she starts getting cranky after a while and constantly puts her hands in her mouth. I have been feeding on demand since birth but now my boobs dont feel as full as before. They also dont leak anymore. Could it mean that my supply has gone down and she isn't getting enough? Her wet and dirty diapers are normal. I dont know what the problem could be. ln need of advice..

You don't keep getting engorged leaky boobs - that's just at the start. Once your supply settles down it just matches the baby's needs.

Maybe your baby is having a growth spurt?

justalilmummy · 22/11/2013 13:23

She is proberly going through a growth spurt
She may also have begun teething if she is chewing hands although she may have juat discovered her hands my ds is also 3 months and hes always chewing away!
Do u give her a dummy? She may be using u for comfort and not feeding all the time

i think she just likes to feed for comfort.. sometimes she is not drinking, only lightly sucking..
