Tried& failed to express at work:(

First day back to work today, full time. DS is 1 in 2 wks & has been EBF. He is also allergic to cows milk so couldn't be weaned onto formula. After finally finding a room with a lock& blinds my flipping pump broke!!! I'm in agony.

I'm ales really concerned that two breasts a day won't be enough for my bubba. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Oh dear, not a good start but it's only the first day! Are you in the UK? Your work should have a breastfeeding policy and somewhere specifically for you to go to express and store milk. Can you hand express? Or nip to the shop on the way home and get a replacement pump? At 1 if you don't want to express he may be ok on 2 feeds a day, with water during the day, is he a good eater? I expressed at work, I did find the first few days stressful but settled down eventually!

When does your DS feed usually? At 12m morning and evening should be okay if he eats a good amount of solids during the day and BFs well too.
