It has returned. Already. Dd is 4 months, she is ebf, feeds every two hours overnight, we sling and co sleep. I am not happy! Is it usual to come back so soon, I'm sure it was at least 8 months with dd1? And would this be why she's been a bit fussy lately?

I feel so Sad.

Mine just came back and I'm just 8 weeks pp. Took 11 months with DS so I'm very Angry.

DD does sleep loads better than DS did (does) and gives me 5 hour chunks overnight, despite co-sleeping, so I'm putting it down to that.

My dd is nearly 8 months and mine haven't returned yet, but I also had an implant fitted at 8 weeks pp so that might also be stopping/delaying mine (although I still had periods when had it in before I had dd.)

Hello - I wanted to ask a question about this (mine have come back too). If they have come back and you're still bf v. regularly, are you definitely fertile? i.e. can periods come back but you still be unfertile?

delilah89, In most cases, returning periods signals the return of fertility. That said if you want a proper medical opinion of your own situation it is best to check with your GP.

I got mine at 7 weeks postpartum despite EBFing. Mother nature is such a cow sometimes Confused

Thanks for the replies. Sounds perfectly normal then, if unfair!
