avent electric breast pump

I've just started using one of these pumps and all seemed well until it started leaking, milk seems to find its way up into the blue pump bit. Don't know if its faulty or I've put it together wrong. Any one help?

I have one too and it leaks if you don't sit bold upright while expressing. I gave feedback to Avent who phoned me but all they could say was - yes, you need to sit bold upright or it will leak! I wish i'd got a different make of pump as it's killing on the back.
