Penicillin and breastfeeding

I'm been poorly for over a week and was put on penicillin 2 days ago. I've got tonsillitis and can barely take the tablets as swallowing is so hard. So for the past few days my diet has consisted of penicillin/paracetamol and Ibuprofen washed down with water. I'm trying to eat but its too painful. Basically, the doctor has said that a small amount gets through to the milk but its minimal. But I worried that the quality of milk must be totally rubbish on this diet - can there be any goodness left?? He's just turned one so i'm only feeding morning and night but thinking i should give him cows milk for a few days. Would that affect my supply? The issue is that he a little poorly with a cold so would he still be getting some immunity from me through my drug infested milk?

YES your bobby milk is still fine! Your diet as no effect on your supply. A woman who eats soley mcdonalds breastmilk is as good as woman who eats organic food. And even though you are not eating much or anything your breastmilk will still be amazing

A little but of antibiotics will not make your breastmilk rubbish and it will still have antibiodies in it. So he will get better quicker.
