Today I stupidly walked into a gate and bashed the underside of my boob pretty hard on the metal lever that closes it. It's left a red mark on the skin and about a quarter of my boob now feel really bruised and sore.
Apart from be more careful next time, is there anything I should be doing to prevent this becoming problematic for feeding my 3.5week old? She's still happy to feed from that side and I'm trying to keep her doing so often to stop any milk getting stuck in the sore bit.
Grateful for any experience or advice.
