Low supply, DD weight

Last few days my boobs feel very deflated. My DD (11 weeks) has also dropped a percentile. Poor little baby! I am freaking out. I have a 2yo DS so I am guilty of interrupting feeds but I can't stop that. The advice is to spend two days in bed feeding or express lots but I don't have time to do either of those. Also she categorically won't take a bottle. What am I going to do?

AFAIK, supply becomes demand driven around now so it is normal for your boobs to feel a bit deflated compared to the first few weeks.

A drop of one centile isn't loads. Is your HV/GP worried? I would give a bf helpine a call in the morning for advice.

Practically, could you fit in more feeds? Maybe in the evening when DC1 is in bed? Or does the thought full you with horror?!

Breast compressions can increase milk transfer too.

Thank you, I will definitely call them and I'm seeing the HV on tuesday.

I think I could offer more feeds. I've been feeding on demand but could just offer whenever she's gone an hour or so without.

Fab. I hope they are helpful and can reassure you and give you some good tips.
