Nursing cushions

I am planning to buy one of the chevron-shaped nursing cushions (from BumpTo3) to use as a sleeping support during pregnancy and also for breastfeeding. I found when trying to breastfeed last time that faffing around with cushions was one of the most annoying things.

They sell two sizes, a standard at 160cm long and a super at 190cm long. Can anyone advise whether they have bought one of these cushions and whether the longer ones are better or whether the standard ones are fine?

Thanks

i have a standard size cushion and i love it. i tried to use a friends 'super chubby' size one and i just couldn't get it right. I find that ds (12 wo) is very comfortable when feeding and that i can have my hands free to do useful things like eat/change tv channels/flick through the paper etc etc. I couldn't live without it!

me too - I think a bigger one might be a bit awkward. I found the standard size one just went comfortably over my knee and reached the back of the chair or sofa, so I would have thought a bigger one would leave a gap in front for the baby to fall down! I used to have two - one for behind me and one in front for baby. Probably the most useful thing I had!
