Expressing at work

Can someone please educate me on my employers responsibilities if I need to express at work.

I'm back to work on the 15th have do far been unsuccessful weaning my 11mth old DS (who is allergic to cows milk) from my boob.

Your hv should be able to give you a leaflet. But in essence, I think that you employers must allow you time to express, must provide a suitable place (not a toilet) and must provide a fridge to store the milk.

AFAIK, your employer must provide the facilities and the time (as mentioned above). However I don't think they are obliged to pay you for that time.

Maybe you could just express during your lunch break? I've done this since going back to work a month ago, when dd was 11 months, as she would only miss one (possibly two) feeds while I was at work anyway.
