U can't overfeed a breastfed baby!? My lil man is quite a big baby, he's ebf...wondering if maybe I'm feeding unnecessarily at times?!?? Smile

Yes, it's true. Smile

Are you happy with your feeding? Is he generally contented and meeting developmental milestones?

If yes to both, then classic case of 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'.

If not, then give more details and lots of MNers will be glad to suggest options.

Babies come in all shapes and sizes. Maybe he's just a naturally big baby? My DD was born tiny (3lb4oz) and is still tiny - at 20 months she is still wearing 9 - 12 month stuff. Yet she is and always has been demand bfed. And boy, does she demand it! All. The. Time. She's a picture of health. Just a very small person! So like I said, maybe your DS is just a naturally big baby.

Yes that's true. Mine were both epic and exclusively breastfeed Grin

Thanks all Smile he's very happy yes he's 11weeks and is starting to need 6-9 months clothes in some things I think this is mainly due to how long he is tho! He weighed 15lb 11oz few days ago! Grin Just wanted to make sure I wasn't over doing it with him he seems huge compared to a friends older baby!

I often wonder this too as my dd is 13lb at 6 weeks old..but she is fine so I don't think I am overfeeding - I know she will come off if she is done
