Hello.. I recently posted about feeding my baby .. Five and a half weeks old ..

However today he has increased yet again and cry real tears .. I did newly, wind etc. so now he is taking either 4 or 5 oz every two hours!!

Will I continue to give him what he wants. He falls asleep so can't finish bottles.
Also I am using tomee tipee starter bottles.. Is there a different teat or them.. My mum thinks there is fr when they get bigger??

Sorry, mrspebble, not sure what you are asking.

He falls asleep so can't finish bottles - do you mean you want to give him more than the 4-5 oz he takes, or that you want to give him more at wider intervals?

What does your HV say?

Also wondering what you're asking... do you think that amount is too much or too little? Every baby is different... my DS (who has weighed in 97th centile sonce birth) takes 8oz of hungry baby milk every 3-5 hours! Just give as much as your LO wants as often as they want.

Regarding the sleep issue, are you putting LO down for regular naps during the day? I had the same problem and introduced naps after 90 minutes of awake time, it made the world of difference. I had no idea before how much a baby should sleep then read that they will be getting tired after 90 mins and all his problems suddenly made sense!
