Do lipase levels in BM change?

I know that excess lipase in BM can make turn the milk a funny taste after a few hours of expressing.

With DD1 I expressed and she drank it fine. Dd2 is turning her nose up at it quite a bit. So I'm wondering do lipase levels change - that is, they were clearly fine with DD1 but could that be an issue with DD2? Or, does your body create milk with a particular lipase level and that's that?

Hope someone knows? Thanks
