Bottle 'clicking'

My 18 week old is bottle fed. Over the past week or so when feeding there is a clicking noise. She seems to be taking down more air as she is very windy and a lot more sick.

I believe she is teething as well.

Anyone encountered this clicking and any ideas of how to stop it?

Im not sure, but I use Mam anti-colic bottles, & they are great.

Make sure they are screwed up properly on the base though!

What bottles are you usimg?

Avent bottles shouldn't be screwed tight or the anti-colic doesn't work. I used to tighten and then loosen a quarter of a turn

Have you tried moving up to the next size teat? My DS did this when size 1 teats became too slow for him.

We are using the tommee tipper bottles and have done since birth.

I tried the next teat size up yesterday, she still clicked then promptly threw the entire feed up!

the flow might be too fast, counter-intuitive I know

back to a smaller teat for a bit?
