Nipple twiddling 14mo

My 14 month DD has started twiddling one nipple while she feeds on the other. Maybe she's trying to tune my boob into Radio 4... it's driving me mad!

DD1 used to do it too but can't for the life of me remember what if anything I did about it.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Haha. DS (13mo) doing the same. I just cover up with bra and he finds something else to play with (shirt, necklace etc) while he continues. The problem is when he detaches and starts twiddling the current nipple. Looks me right in the eye too. Can't help but laugh. I just put them away at that point in time.

Yes here too, it's very irritating. Started about 14 months I think and at 17 months he's starting to lose interest.....

I tried covering up, saying no, removing his hand repeatedly and if that didn't work stopping the feed.

I don't know if this worked but he's doing it a lot less now.

Giving a small teddy to hold sometimes helps stop my 17 month old dd...but I agree it's very annoying!

i used to leave the other breast covered. if they still did it i would keep removing the hand. if they complained about that then the feed ended.
