19 week old refusing to feed during the day?

We have moved from EBF to mainly FF over the last couple of weeks and DD2 was happily taking formula but over the last couple of days she has started to refuse to feed during the day. She will take 2 or 3oz with a battle at a time (approx 8am, 12 noon, 4pm and 7.30pm) but then refuses any more and fusses and screams.

We have started weaning on GP's advice but she only gets less than 1oz (I have the boots tiny food pots which tell you) morning and teatime and always offer milk first so I don't think it's the solids.

She has taken 4oz at 10pm and 3am but I'm concerned she isn't getting enough. I have offered the breast but she is not interested in that either. I've checked her mouth and no thrush.

Any ideas?

Teething? If her mouth is sore she might not want to have the teat in her mouth. You could try baby bonjela or similar before a feed.

Another possibility is the teat is too fast or slow and she's getting frustrated or overwhelmed. You could experiment with different flows.

You may have hit the nail on the head, I changed her to medium flow teats last week, so bought some vari-flow teats when I was out and she has just taken 2.5 -3oz but without any fuss, which makes 5oz in total.

Nope, back to square 1! 2oz then refusing to take anymore.
