The wait at our nearest NHS clinic is soul-destroyingly long...can anyone recommend a practioner who can do this privately? (Patrick Sheehan at Manchester Childrens Hospital has now moved to London.)

Thanks very much in advance.

This website looks useful, and was linked to on the IBCLC webpage ...

If you would consider going to Huddersfield, then John Roberts at the Cote Royd Dental practice there uses laser (which has advantages over scissors) and will also do an upper lip tie if there is one that needs revised.

He trained with Dr Kotlow

DS1 had his ties revised by him after an "expert" paed surgeon failed to do it properly. But he was 6yo at the time so a different experience to having a baby revised.

Thanks very much both.

We've now got a couple of options (inc that Huddersfield one, thanks Mawbroon) - apparently there's someone at the Royal Derby Hospital who can do it, and a Mr Park at Mansfield Hospital - more details to follow, in case it's helpful for anyone else.
