Any advice - feeling guilty and anxious!

My daughter is 4 weeks old- I initially started breastfeeding exclusively but was recovering from an iron deficiency and was just not producing enough milk. On the advice of several people including the midwife I started to top up her feeds with formula so offering her 1-2 oz after each breast feed. So far this seems to be working really well- I am now steadily increasing the formula to 3 0z but still starting with a breast feed on each session. But i feel really guilty! And unsure about how to progress. Do I just keep on increasing formula? My boobs are still producing milk but i'm aware that the supply will be less as I've been combining. Anyone else done a bit of both?

This is what I've done for the past 10 weeks since my ds was born and had jaundice and 10% weight loss in his first week. I'm still offering breast then topping up and could definitely continue to do so long term. He's growing and it's doing him no harm.
However I want to ebf. My supply is low and he does seem to need more than I can give (gets fussy as it gets hares to draw out). So I'm working on upping my supply with help from a bf counsellor (from what I've heard and read, this is possible but takes time/patience). Whatever happens I know he will be well fed and healthy.

P.s. Kellymom website has advice on how to do this.

I will check out the Kellymom website. I feel like my supply is not optimum as I'm obviously supplementing at each feed. Baby has a enormous appetite though! So can't imagine I can produce enough to keep up. Good to hear that someone else is using the same technique though - and am not alone!
