Hiya im wondering what to do. My son is 5 weeks old and born 7lb 1oz, last week he was over 11lb!! Health visitor couldnt believe it. But he's taking 6oz bottles and waking for feeds every 2-3hrs and sometimes i'll feed him and he's still crying for more :( what do you think about putting him on hungry baby milk?? I did with my daughter but when she was 5months as she was born small and didnt gain weight like my son. Any info greatly accepted:) xx

Hungry baby milk doesn't actually fill them up anymore than regular formula, its just thicker and harder to digest so it doesn't pass through the stomach so quickly.

Basically he might need 1 of these feeds compared to 2 regular which obviously means less nutrition for him so i wouldn't tbh.

No. It just sits in the tummy for longer, it duesvt add any extra calories or nutrition. And it stuffs up the feeding routine and they can end up taking less milk than they should.

Feed him normal milk and keep going till he's in full bottles. Once that happens if he's still crying after a feed seek help.
