Suddenly interested in my nipples

My DD is 7 1/2 months and is BFed, and is a bottle refuser. In the past few days she has suddenly been interested in my nipples. She comes off during feeds and tries to play with them. Which I find odd.

Has anyone else found this? Is it just my child being inquisitive?

My 10 month old DD often comes off during a feed to have a little chat with my nipple. She also likes to tweak them which is not so cute
