Formula in a cup?

DD is 8.5 months. Weaning is going well and she drinks water well from a variety of sippy cups. She has 4 bottles of formula a day. When should I be trying to get her to have these formula feeds from a sippy cup?

I can't be of much help as DS bf but he's been having cows milk from a cup since 11 months. If she's good with water then I'd just start giving formula a go in them too, although maybe don't put a whole feed in if you don't want too much potential waste.

No hurry. My daughter (and most of my friends' children) were still drinking milk from a bottle until much later. My DD stopped at just after 2. She was drinking water from a cup from 6 months

I don't think there's a hurry but I'd be trying to swap the day time feeds for cups by 12 months. She needs to continue having a minimum of 500ml a day until then anyway. If you keep the bedtime feed as a bottle after 12 months just make sure you clean her teeth after the bottle.

Thanks ladies. I was hoping I could wait until she drops the number of bottles naturally as she ups her amount of solids.
