Mastitis

I gave birth by emcs 20 days ago. Today I have a fever of 38.6, feel achey and shivery. My left nipple is still cracked and sore but no redness/swelling/hotspots-
Does it sound like mastitis?

I'm worried about some other form of infection??

What should I do given it is Friday night? Have been discharged by midwife.

Phone out of hours. Best to be checked out. Could be your CS.

I checked my cs scar and it was bloody and weepy in the centre. I rang mau and went in. They checked it and said it looked ok but gave me anti bs in case. But today it is still bleeding a tiny bit. I just feel as if I thought I was recovering ok but now I feel like I've been set back a bit.

I don't feel feverish/achey any more, just tired.

I also am in agony from my left nipple which is badly cracked. The pain when ds latches on is unbearable, then it eases slightly during the feed, but then my whole left breast feels sore for a while after the feed.

I am worried about thrush ESP as now on anti bs but ds not got any white patches in mouth.

I just want to feel normal again!

I bf ds1 til 18m so thought I should be better at it this time!!
