I have never frozen breastmilk before as it takes me all day to express anything meaningful, but did done overtime at the pump for today as I am leaving dd all day for the first time.
The frozen milk thawed overnight and it has separated, which I expected, but there are also lots of floaty white solid bits (looks like kettle precipitate if you live in a hard water area) even on swirling. It smells of nothing. Is it still ok to use? If not, dd could have cows milk as she is 11 months. I only expressed so she could have something familiar as it is the first time of leaving her.
