Is that the 'baby turn it head to mothers milk test' ? They are amazing!

I was breast feeding ds. Post c-section, still in hospital and very hormonal the mw took him for the night. They gave him a feed in a cup. They next feed I gave him he didn't latch on, but lapped like a cat! Soon realised that wasn't getting him anywhere and latched back on. Boy but they learn quickly!

That babies will turn thei head towards a breast pad containing their mothers milk in preferece to other pads containing other milk. Amazing stuff!

Is your sister adopting?

She's hoping to as they cant have kids. Its such a long process, very soul searching and emotional stuff as they go into everything.

Hope things go well for her.

Don't let her get hung up on the b/f bit. In the end I couldn't give mine enough milk and we still bonded ok! Kids know when they are loved

Oops, nothing like that, it is just in their paperwork to help people understand about attachment. Although if you do adopt a baby it is still possible to bf but i dont know how succesful this is.
