Do all breast fed babies have a 12 week feeding frenzy?

My daughter is nearing 13 weeks and there has been no three month feeding frenzy / growth spurt like people suggest. She is bf so I assumed it would happen- she is very content and has five long feeds a day. Do you think it won't happen?

It may well not happen. There isn't actually a lot of evidence that growth spurts exist, per se. Babies do (sometimes) feed more for a bit, and then feed less again, but there isn't actually any sign that they are really taking in more milk in that time.

I'm still bfing 14mo (although only morning and bedtime) and I've never noticed a growth spurt. But he has grown!
