How to decide if I should stop or keep going

DS is 30 months. He is breastfeed and a pretty large toddler.

I'm tired at at the moment and my mum has said she thinks I should give my body a rest. On the whole she is supportive of breastfeeding but has mention me stopping several times.

To give you a bit of idea of how much I'm feeding here is today so far
5:30 am about 10 minutes
7am about 10 minutes
11am about an hour
1:15 pm about 10 minutes
it's only 2pm now
but i expect another afternoon feed of about 20 minutes and then he is feed to sleep for about 30 minutes.

If I'm not around he just has water.

I am tired but not sure if that is just tired as he is still waking once a night and is up pretty early (we are working on this), OH works shifts but casually so any given day he might leave, I'm studying part time at home and also do some volunteering. So we have a full life.

I've never had a breastfeeding goal really knew I would breastfeed until at least a year but no date. On the whole I enjoy breastfeeding (except for the nipple twiddles).

I'd like to start TTC soonish but have my periods are back and regular so that isn't a factor. In some ways I'm interested in tandem feeding too.

I'm just no sure what to do.

Any advice suggestions

I really doubt it is breastfeeding making you tired. My DD self weaned a few weeks or so ago and if anything I'm more tired since then... No more quiet snuggles on the sofa, no more being able to feed to sleep, no more being able to feed her if she's whingey/tired/needs comfort... Obviously there are other ways to do these things, but breastfeeding just made everything a bit easier.

However, rather than listen to me, or your Mum, you should do what's right for you. Do you want to stop?

Not really. No!
I am tired and I'd like to stop being tired but your right I don't want to stop.

Partly I think she wants me to stop because she thinks the idea of breastfeeding and being pregnant is wrong. I don't think that. So I wonder if she is encouraging me to stop before I get pregnant again.

I wonder if I'm tired because I've put on a bit of weight recently.

My three year old was like this, and then all of a sudden dropped to mornings only. It MIGHT happen....... Grin

Oh, and I'm still tired. I've just put it down to having a toddler.

I feel like I'd just like to to end when it ends.

My mum said to me today I think you should wean him and I said I don't want to. She said not for him for you and I said I don;t think breastfeeding is why I am tired. I'm really glad I posted on here before she said it so outright I felt like I had back up to say no.

Time to work on other things to make me more energetic.
