12week old not feeding (FF) well

My ds (formula fed) usually drinks 4-5oz every 3-4hours. For the last 3 days This has reduced to 2oz with an occasional 4oz. He had a mild cold but seems better could this be the reason?

Ds was born 6 weeks early and still sleeps most of the time waking every 3-4hours.

Thanks

12 weeks old is the typical time when babies change there feeding habits, just keep offering ...

Babies dont often starve themselves

DD is FF and now 8months old. A few times over the last 8 months she has done the same. She'll drop the amount of formula she'll take and be really fussy with the little she does drink, it usually lasts a few days and then she slowly gets back up to the amount she was previously having. Sometimes it coincides with her being under the weather, sometimes not. I used to really worry about it but it has always passed in a few days. If it continues for you maybe speak to the HV and get baby weighed? Smile
